OCD-001

When i take a long right hand turn (e.g. around a roundabout) i can hear some rubbing/rattling noise comming from the rear on the passenger side. It sounds real bad like the wheel is gonna jump right off during the turn.
It is not tyre rub (coupe shell -plenty of tub!) nor is the tyre loose on the drum.
Could it be bearings?

your sure its not the diff swaying left to right? Caused by worn out leaf sping bushes?

My tyres used to rub when I went around corners hard due to the diff swaying. Redid the bushes and the problem went away.

Cost all of $110 to do myself.

other than what brenden suggests, I would also just check that the U bolts are holding the diff onto the springs properly!

Oh, also check that the wheel nuts are done up properly...

yeah that gives me a better clue to this problem. Actually i thought it was my eyes playing up when the other day i was looking at the back of the car to see for any list of the body and i could have sworn that one of the rear tyres looked more forward then the other one. Perhaps the u-bolts are loose and have slid across the spring.
Better give it a look!
