XC Coupe 78

hi all

can someone tell me the part numbers for the XB and the XC indicator stalks...i think they are two different units.

also, does anyone know if an XB indicator stalk can be doctored to fit (and work) in an XC? there cant be much difference between then....?

Yes they are diffrent. xc ones fit in xd's too. the switch is the same, the wires just plug in diffrent. I put an xb one into an xd ghia recently, I just had to cut the wires and swap the plug type over. (male/female plugs used, they miriam from xb to c)....If you look at the little numbers on the plug and switch you can re wire it all piss easy.

thats good to hear! i have two NOS ones and they are slightly different with the wiring looms and the positions of the wires etc but the actual unit is exactly the same. I thought i'd shop up now and buy any available before they dry up and i'm left with a crappy, loose indicator stalk that looks like its been chewn on (as they all look like after thirty odd years of handling)
