I own a XC Fairmont its got the square headlights but i was wondering if there is a set of twin lights for this model. I think they are called rally pack. If anyone knows where to get em and if they are hard to install please write it down. it would be much appreciated.

Re: Xc Twin Lights

It is not just a matter of changing the grille, you have to change the radiator support panel plus i think also the head light wiring loom. Why do you what to get rid of the square ons for?

The Twin Round Lights were available on the early XC Models. The Outer Light being 5" Round Headlights and the inside being 5" Hella Driving Lamps identical to that of an XA-XB GT/GS just with differant wiring connector or plug. The Later XC Models known as 'Updates' Had the square Type as standard on Fairmont and Fairmont GXL and 7" Single Round as standard on other lower Models.Did you end up finding a front?? I see someone mentioned you have to change the Radiator Support Panel for this conversion??? This surprises me and I must question it !!!

Re: Xc Twin Lights

ok heres a model i do know alot about xc's.
ALL xc radiator support panels are the same throughout the model run.
ALL xc headlghts remained the same update or not throughout the model run and are as follows:
ALL xc fairmonts/fairmont gs/gxl had square headlights update or not.
ALL xc falcon gs/rally pack had twin round lights as per the gt apart from quartz halogen head lights which were unique to the xc gs range standard on the falcon update and optional on the pre update.
hope this helps u out.

Re: Xc Twin Lights

Also there was an X Pack model. Built very late in '78 which also had the twin headlight front.
