Hi all,
Is there any difference between both series?
I'm converting the XC ute from manual to auto and was
wondering if the auto ones out of the donor XD will fit.

i have a feeling that the pedal mount is different from memory .

if you stick your head under there and have a look you should be able to tell if they look similar . then its not a hard job to try it to see if it fits.

I once put a manual xb pedal box into my xd ghia, fitted fine. I still have the xd orig man pedal box and the clutch pedal swings from a diffrent place than the earlier type.

My dilemma is I have a manual XC and auto XD and need the auto in the XC,
if that makes sense? I'm waiting on some XD-XF manuals i've just bought
and hopefully there will be some photos.

Piss easy, just take out the pin holding the pedal pivot on the pedal box, slide out the pedals, then fit the auto pedal into the manual housing. Easy.

hi man. doing the same thing but the other way around. auto XC into manual XE. so buzz me if they fit. thanks..

or you could just give him your Xc auto pedals and he can give you his XD manual ones.

XA GT has the right idea. its not that hard and much easier if the dash is in place. How is the ute comming along?

Are they both V8 boxes? The XD/XE I6 boxes have different pivot points for the clutch pedal.

Yep, both were factory v8's. I never touched the Ford sixes......Yuck.
