The car is clean as and is nice to drive, its white. Just thought i would share it with use. So know i have a turbo esp and a v8 esp im pretty wraped with the purchase as i got it at a very good price
Cant post pics as me digital camera is not working
Hate to be a kill joy, but Ford never made any factory turbo ESP's, they were done after production as dealer fit options. (like the Dick Johnson specials).
What do you mean by factory compliance plate??
Falcons never had an engine code for 4.1 efi turbo, as they never did em.....
theyve got a complance plate under the bonnet to say they comply with australian standards and im pretty sure it has FORD motor company on it.
taking straigt out fo a 1984 Modern Motor Magizine 'the car woiuld be deliverd already fitted with an AIT turbosystem that is fully warranted, and has been fitted by your own ford dealer"
Only 18 were made with the esp option so its a very rair car

i think that's the point being made, it was a dealer option, not a factory one. still a rare car, you are right! you should post a photo, when you can..
i thought Ford canned the turbo because they couldn't garantee the transmission. all cars had to pass a towing test of some sort and the turbo cars kept burning up autos which is why it never made it to public as a facory option.
at the time DJ was playing around with them after Ford canned the clevo.
fix your camera and send some pics. i love xe ESP's.
excellent. you don't see too many without the charcoal tu-tone. nice cars.
Nice. A friend of mine who owns a 429cj mustang just picked up an original Dick Johnson Turbo falcon the bastard, and he got it cheaps as chips and its supposed to be in really good nick. (still to see it personally) I was pretty jealous when i was told especially what he paid.
