Can anyone tell me if sunroofs were ever a factory option on the XW Falcon range?I have seen XW sales brochures and the sunroof is not mentioned as an option.The earliest I have seen it is on the XY range.
A friend of mine has just bought a very clean original XW 500 from the second owner with a factory looking sunroof (the original owner was a Ford employee)and it has got me a bit confused.
As far as I know, they were not offered with factory sunroofs- the only one I know of from the factory was the 'Bill Bourke Special' - the black 428 XW GT.
It is possible that the sunroof was fitted early in the car's life by a panelbeater.
