I can get my hands on a set (4) of genuine 12 slotters with caps and dress rims, all in good condition. Though I don't know what they are worth. They have Ford logo stamped on them and the caps are the two stripe jobbies that clip onto the rim. The dress rims have a few scratches on them but nothing bad. Any ideas?

Are they riveted one's and depending on condition they ussually go for $200 odd a rim,are they stainless cap's as well or the aftermarket jobbie's.

Depends weather the centers are riveted or spot welded, the riveted ones are xw-y gt and are worth a lot more than the spot welded ones(xa-b gt/gs). I think the early ones are kelsy hayse's?

I didn't look that closely. I did notice that the cap was more like spun aluminium and attached to a black ring that clips to the rim. Any help?

Sound's like an adaptor plate,and if so they dont sound like original one's,there should be 3 little divett's if that's what you could call them where the cap sit's in,and the cap should be S/S, the aftermarket one's used an adaptor plate so that the cap would fit on and this plate was held on by the wheel nut's.

And the rims were made in Canada.

Not sure on that one, I thought they were made by ROH for Ford,can you get a pic of them,I have a genuine rim in the shed I will have a look and see if they have ROH stamped on them.but if they are aftermarket 12 slotter's they are not worth the $200 fiqure I said above,I'd pay $200 for the set.

I just re read what I wrote and I wasn't too clear! The caps push in and are held by the dimples on the rim. Inside the cap is a spring steel type ring which holds the cap to the rim. I'm pretty sure they were stainless steel caps.
Also the trim rings are flat looking not rounded.
Thanks heaps for the help......I just don't want to get done over for not being up the curve on these!
