on this mtr what type of module is required ?mine is missing when got motor.

If you mean to say you acquired a 1977 460 with the factory electronic distributor but no associated ignition box from the car, then you need the factory Ford Dura-Spark ignition module, preferably with the blue plastic strain relief (<---where the wire harness comes out of the module).
