I'm looking for a stock 429 intake and carb for my 70 Cobra (Thunderjet). Would a CJ or SCJ intake fit on thunderjet stock heads?
I know it should have a autolite 4300 if its a thunderjet, but what about the CJ & SCJ? What do they take?

If anyone has one with late 69 or early 70 date code please let me know.

Mike,

The factory iron CJ/SCJ intakes will physically bolt to your TJ heads without any trouble. There will be a port mis-match because the TJ heads have passenger car size ports while the CJ heads have CJ size ports, but the engine will run fine, and Ford has even announced sometime in the past that they found more HP with this setup.

Don't know what to tell you about original carb applications because I am not a "period correct" type enthusiast.
