i have a 460 bored 80 over with a scat 4.150 rotating assembly, erson 225 duration cam, (HYDRALIC) edelbrock 95 cc heads, and performer rpm air gap intake. its going in a 84 ford duely and is not intended to be raced or hot rodded too much. my question is this, what size carb should i put on it? doing the formula, at 6000rpm i need a 900cfm. but i looked some up online and found a 514 stroker built the same as mine with a 750cfm. i have two edelbrock 750s now. i dont wanna spend 400 extra if its not needed but its my first motor build and i wanna do it right. i plan on runnin on pump gas. any tips or advise would be helpfull. also how much hp can i exspect?

I might opt for more carburtor than an Edelbrock 750, perhaps a Holley 750 or Holley 850. The Edelbrock may prove to be too lean in such a big vehicle that will impose substantial loads on the engine.

You have not provided much info about your engine combination but based on your given specs and assuming pump gas compression ratios I might believe somewhere in the neighborhood of 470-520 hp. Also, torque in your particular combination ought to really impress you for the truck applicaiton.
