g'day all,
over the past year as some of you will know i have been building my first bigblock 460, stroked to 557. and i can now say IT WAS WORTH THE WAIT!! on the engine dyno it made 684 hp at 6300rpm with 677 lb/ft at 4300rpm.... those numbers make me a very happy man!!!!!!!!!! thanks to all those who helped out on this site.............now time for another look at the engine.............mmmm engine...ahhhhhhh

i used edelbrock rpm heads (60669) and its goin in a 71 mdl f100, chopped and lowered!!!

Love those big numbers .Just wondering if your Edelbrocks are as they came out the box.95cc or 75,s.Cam , compression details details Getuted or did I miss that post.

compression is 10.5:1, and the heads are 95cc jobies.... but are now heavely ported!!

Getuted congrats on the engine, that is some work. If it's not too much trouble could you let us know the engine specs, you know, everything you did to get so much power and torque. I'm curious cause I wanna build one of these things one day and I'm just curious how expensive and hard it'll be. Good work.

Thats fully sick mate. I've just bought a 429 and would be happy 580 lb/ft at 3,200 and 400 odd ponies.
