My friend has a 1964 Galaxie and he's debating on putting a 460 in it or leaving the 390... If he leaves the 390, he's going to put the 460 in his mustang.... I'm not sure what he's really looking for but I think he's wanting something that has good acceleration and lots of torque on tap. The 390 would rev better than the 460 right? He just wants some general opinions. thanks.
stick with the 390 , the 4 barrel version made 330 horse power straight out of the factory and with a little tweeking can be made into a real performer ,
you will also save on the extra work like mounts ect
