Hi, I need to go to the parts store and buy a new alternator to go on my 74 Ford F-250 with a 460/C6. I don't want the stock alternator and was hoping somebody out there would know which car equipped with the more modern 3G alternator would be the right application for my truck. I know the 95 ish Taurus might be close, but hopefully someone out there knows what I'm talking about so I can just go to the parts counter and walk out with a 3G that will fit my truck, thanks, Roy
