Re: Ford 460 oil pump?

when you say assembled, do you mean with rockerarms?

Cause i have someone who can get me a pair for 1400 without rockerarms, but with the valves and springs.

would these intakes work?

Assembled means with valves, valve springs, retainers, locks, etc. Rocker arms are not included. If you can get brand new SCJ's for $1400 fully assembled (NOT bare casstings), then buy them. If they are fully assmbeld but used, for $1400 then...

I would prefer the second intake between the two links that you posted.

You are pretty close by to me. Please feel free to call so that I can answer all your questions more quickly and more efficiently.

Ebay. Or Rex Marine - High Performance Boat Parts, Marine Parts, Automotive Parts & Hardware

Or in Napa, at CP Performance Marine Products - Home Page

But they can be found used on Ebay and craigslist...

I don't know much about them. Drake jet pumps were made in very small production runs; John Drake passed away November 2004; parts are hard to come by.

You live in sacramento and Berkely pumps are currently manufactured by CP Performance north of the Golden Gate. parts are everywhere for those pumps. Get a boat with a Berekely pump, or a Dominator pump, or an American Turbine pump.

Lots to discuss in regards to your entry into jet boating...and way too much to type. I strongly recommend you give me a call so I can fill you in. My contact info (phone number) is on the website in my signature line below.

No, at least not for your jet boat application since you will not be able to find aftermarket intake manifolds for them, cannot find jet boat exhaust of any kind for them, etc. E7TE's are 460FI heads, not 460 carburetted heads. For a mere 500 hp buld, you should be looking at C8VE, C9VE, or D0VE heads. A pro could get you to 500 hp with D3VE heads, too.
