are heads for a 429 interchangeable
i have a 429 the numbers on the block are d1ve-a2b i was told it was a thunderjet i was wondering if i was able to put cobra jet heads on the block

If you have a Ford 429 Thunderjet engine with a D1VE-A2B cylinder block, then the cylinder head numbers should be D0VE-C. Do you have D0VE-C heads?

Next, why do you wish to install Cobra Jet cylinder heads onto this engine?
