I have those measurements, but dont know the exact year. the block is marked D9TE-AB, with the numbers 118-17 and 9A24- V also on it. there is no identification tag on it. the heads are marked D3VE- A2A with 7B17 on one and 7D11 on the other, under the valve covers. the intake is not stock so there are no numbers on it that are relavent. the crank is 3YA. My guess would be that the year is not important as long as they have the bore rod and main sizes. but if they do need it, id like to have it for them. plus id like to know too. if any one can help it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Based on the information provided, I would say that is a 1979 460. Even if my guess is not exact, 1979 in the year to use when furnishing the parts supplier with a year model in rdoer for him to sedn the correct parts for that engine. 1980 will work also, in fact 1979-1985 will work in your particular case.
Please note that if you are getting rebuilder pistons, your engine combo will have about 8:1 compression ratio once complete. But if you specify to the supplier that they substitute 1988-1991 460 pistons, then your compression ratio will be closer to 9:1 (assuming no other changes). Your jet boat will perform better with the bump in compression ratio.
