1976cobra429 Registered User Join Date: Sep 2007 Location: Michigan Posts: 5	which ring goes on top? Installing new rings on Probe pistons. Perfect Circle rings. Which compression ring goes on top? I belive dot on top goes up. One has inside bevel on bottom, other has inside bevel on top with shiny on outside of ring. These are Plasma-Moly Ductile/Gray iron RBT. Part # 315-0025.030 4.360+ .030 1/16 1/16 3/16 Thanks Chuck

Bevel on the ID of the ring: Faces up on the top ring; down on the second ring.
