I AM PULLING DOWN MY ENGINE THIS WINTER. I AM STARTING OUT WITH A 429 CJ BLOCK, VERTEX MAGNETO, WEIAND STEALTH ' RPM RANGE IDEL-6,800'
' I SOLD THE TUNNEL RAM' I LIKE SCAT BB Ford 502 Scat Rotating Assembly Kit 4.150 Stroke 6.700 Rods 9.5:1 Hypereutectic Keith Black Dish Pistons. I NOT SURE OF WHAT CAM TO RUN, WANTING SOMETHING TO GO WITH THE RPM RANGE OF MY WEIAND STEALTH. KILLER HEADS AFTER BOTTOM END IS DUN.
ANY HELP WILL BE APPRECIATED. J,K,

I would steer away from the hyper pistons for your v-drive boat. Also, why the Stealth for a 502? What heads will you run? What compression ratio are you shooting for?

The P2404 Probe pistons are an incorrect application for the 502 rotating assy and will not fit because they are for a stock stroke 460 with a stock piston pin diameter which is at a ~stock pin location.

My advice is to contact Brian Adams of AD Performance. He will set you up with the exact rotating assy you need, correct pistons, rods, crankshaft, and desired compression ratio.

The 8021 will work, but I think that a Victor 460 ported to SCJ size would be better with the 502.
