'66 Mustang Ignition Barrel

I have had a query from a '66 mustang owner who has a stuffed ignition barrel, and needs to replace it.
The car is right hand drive, where could i get hold of a new barrel and possibly the ignition switch, or does a barrel from an early falcon fit?

I deal with capital classics:
Mark can get the barrel for you...

Also, check ebay. They pop up on there every so often.

Re: '66 Mustang Ignition Barrel

I've been ordering directly from the USA via www.californiamustang.com - easily the most comprehensive and complete Mustang website that I personally have come across thus far regarding Mustang parts. After having gone through their 64-73 Mustang section for the last 2 months with a fine tooth comb, I can safely say this... if you need a part for your classic Mustang and if you can visibly see it - whether it be under the car on in the dash or moldings or chrome or whatever, you can buy it from the website mentioned above. It's an amazing thing.

The Boo Boo Mobeel: 1966 Shelby GT350 Mustang Fastback. Scarlett Red with White Le Mans stripes with matching co-ordinated Pony interior. 289 Hi-Po Cobra currently mated to a close ratio 4 speed Top Loader. 17" Torq Thrust II's and 13" Baer Racing disks all round with PBR 4 spot calipers.

Re: '66 Mustang Ignition Barrel

XW/XY ignition setup fits my 67.

Not sure if that helps!

Learn from other people's mistakes. You won't live long enough to make them all.

If there's commotion coming from the passenger seat, and nothing but earth going round and round outside the windows,.......then everything is not as it seems!
