I havent been here in a while. I need some hands on information from those who can help. I need to know what the widest wheel/tire combo will fit on my 66 Stang. I want to go to 15" X 8 with 235-60-15 tires. Some say they wont fit in the rear and some say they wont fit in the front but I'm told 7" with 225-60-15 tires is the widest. I do want all the wheels and tires the same size so they can be rotated. Any input would be very helpfull. I also will be selling the stock GT style rims after I get the new wheels/tires. I am running 15 x 8 Draglites with 225/60-15's with room to spare, on a standard height rear end.
My front end is very low, I tried 205/65-15 on 15 x 6 Draglitres, and it scrubbed the fenders very badly, and I went down to 185-60 15's for street, and 135r15 on 15 x 4 for track
