maybe someone can help took car out for short ride spring fever here in maine on way back car started breaking up bad check points plugs cap wires timeing car kept heated garage started all winter fresh fuel any ideas

Condenser was a common problem on these Fords. If memory serves me correctly, it was mostly when under a load. Also, Points are most accurately set with a dwell meter. A gauge gets you close enough, but dwell meter is on the money.
