Alternator alignment problem

I have a 66 mustang with a no frills 289. I'm having a problem lining up the alternator with the rest of the pullies, its like its sitting about a half inch off. I have the right spacer in place but it just won't line up. Can someone just post some pics of their set-up so I can make sure i have the brackets in the right place. This is a stock 289 with no P/S or A/C. Thanks Kelly
