boss 429

Hi
This is a long shot, but you never know. Does anyone know of any Boss 429 HEMI engine parts for sale in OZ or NZ or anywhere for that matter!. Main items required are block and heads, but would consider all parts.

NOTE: I have a NASCAR Boss 429 short block and heads for sale (not cheap). This set up is not correct for my 1970 boss 429.

You have a Boss 429. You are very lucky. Most parts would be available in the USA but you better have a healthy cheque book.

What is your car like. Does it need alot of work.

Re: boss 429

Hi
Yes it is a 1970 Mustang Boss 429.
NASCAR # KK2457
Calypso Carol

The boss is now fully restored to concourse condition. I am now in the process of rebuilding/restoring the engine. I will post some photo if I new how. Send me your e-mail if you want a look. gary.mcneill@stonebow.otago.ac.nz

The block needs repaired in one bore. It needs a sleeve. The head also needs a little work. Very repairable, I would repair it myself but I would rather sell it the way it is so the purchaser can repair it themselves. Also the parts are surplus as I have purchase the original engine for the car in the US.
