Hello, I am looking to make improvements to my 1967 Mustang. My main focus is to improve gas efficiency and improve performance. How much am I looking to spend if I converted my carburetor to electric fuel injection? Plus, any recommendations would be appreciated...thanks

You would have to do a helluva mileage to recoup the expenditure that it would cost on that conversion .Even then might not make any improvements on mpg if there were other engine faults contributing towards poor fuel consumption . If you think it's down to the carb . get it overhauled and then set up correctly .

Actually, it might be cheaper in the long run to find a 5.0 from a 90's vintage mustang. However, I saw them on Ebay and EZ-EFI is out there if you want to keep the vintage engine.
