main bearing torque specs for inline 6 - 170cid

I just replaced the rear main seal in my 64 Mustang, and I need to re-torque all the crank bearings. It is a 170 CID inline 6.

What is the sequence and specs for this?

TIA

Re: main bearing torque specs for inline 6 - 170cid

Start with the middle cap and work your way out on each end.

Example: caps are 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 - 4 is the middle. Tighten 4,5,3,6,2,7,1

Set torque wrench at 45lbs for the 1st pass, 60lbs for the 2nd and 70lbs for the 3rd.
