Removing Shackle Rubbers

Anybody got any hints for easy removal of seized in 39 year old rear shackle rubbers?

Start hacking with a good knife.See if you can grab the end with a channellock and gradually start twisting one way and then the other a little bit at a time to slowly bust them loose.Best of luck.

I burn mine out with a torch. Don't need to be very hot but they come out like a hot knife through butter. JMHO RW
