I have heard a supercharger (paxton?) was available through Shelby and as I'm fitting a blower to my 66 I thaught some background information might be useful to justify this mod to rego authoritys.

Can anyone tell me for whch years this option was available , horsepower output with blower ,any other mods that came with blower option and where I could look for more info on this

Mid April 1966, the paxton super charger became an option on GT350 shelbys. Included in the package was the belt driven paxton super charger, an autolite 460 cfm carby and a special "COBRA" carby enclosure. A gain of 46% additional horsepower was advertised.

There was an article 12-18 months ago (I think), in Mustang Monthly, about the first one built, and it had the GT350S stripes. From memory, it was green. If I get bored, do you want me to have a look for that article for you??
