Will Powerglide fit in 66 Mustang?

I have a 66 Mustang, with a 351w, LHD. Will a Powerglide fit in the tunnel, without mods, apart from the usual bellhousing/crossmember changes?

I am not sure about your 66, but I have one in my 70 Mach 1 with no clearance issues at all. I was even able to use my C-4 crossmember and only had to drill two holes in the crossmember for the transmission mount.

Drag racing, because football, baseball, and golf only take one ball to play.

393 Cleveland, iron 4v heads, solid roller, powerglide, 4.56 gears good for 10.02@132 n/a.

Too late, I've already gone and had a 26 spline C4 built, with a new convertor.
