Hey all!

I am new here. My parents own a 1961 Thunderbird, and its currently leaking power steering fluid everywhere.

We found the issue. One of the hoses coming off the pump under the reservoir is cracked and leaking.

It is the hose closest to the ground. There are no clamps holding it on, but appears to be crimped. Is this the "high pressure" hose??? If so, how is the hose removed, and where can I buy a replacement hose?

Also want to replace the upper hose that comes from the reservoir.

Please help! Want to order the right parts. This is the only thing keeping this original car off the road.

Check out the pictures. We tried to point to the lower hose in question.

That is the pressure hose. It's threaded on and you loosen it with a wrench. Here's a similar one. How to Replace or Repair a Power Steering Pressure Hose
