Exclamation '72 429 stalling out??

Ive got a 72 t-bird with a 429 and 35000 original miles. I just had the carb rebuilt the fuel lines flushed and the gas tank cleaned. It idles rough and sometimes stalls. i was just wondering if you guys had any sugestions or ideas? Thanks

But thats doesnt explain why sometimes it will work right and not others, and once you put some gas throught it, it is ok, till idle again. They dont have a computer, so it cant adjust itself, which confuses me?

first check the floats in the carb to see if they are sticking.What kind of carb is it?,does it have a power valve? I have had this peoblem and it was gunk in the float bowl causing the float to stick in the wrong position.
