Frame off restoration for my 55...

I'm looking to pull the body off of my 55 tbird. I'm wondering if anyone knows the weight of the body. I'm thinking about using an atv winch to pull the body off, but I'm afraid it may not be strong enough. However, I've seen people use come-a-long's to do this as well. Anyone ever build something to do pull the body off? Thanks in advance...

Moved to the Classic Tbird section.

Very bad idea. They are made for pulling not lifting. A cable come-a-long is also a bad idea, again, it's rated for pulling not lifting. Tell you what do. Rent or buy a good heavy chain come-a-long or chain hoist, you can rent one from one of those places that rents scissor lifts, forklifts welding machines ect..
