I need 64 T-bird rearend info

I am looking for as much info as possible for 1964 T-Bird differential info. What length were they? how strong? 28 or 31 spline? What bearings in the carrier etc.. What Gears options were available? Any info or links would be great. Thanks!

cool Re: I need 64 T-bird rearend info

The only rear end supposedly available for the 1964 T-Bird was the Ford 9-inch rear end with a 3.00:1 ratio. There have been other sources that list other ratios but not for this year. This does not mean however that you can't change the gear ratio. All 9" rear ends can be chaged easily by removing the axles and removing the carrier. Don't have spline count but this should be a start.
