Temperature sending unit.
Hi everyone. Could anyone tell me where I can find a 2 post or terminal temperature sending unit for my 79' T-Bird. All the part stores in my area seem to not know what I am talking about. I have a feeling that they just made this for a year or so and no longer make the replacement part. I really don't want to mount a new gauge on a bracket. I was able to get a replacement but I don't think it was the right one as it did not look exactly the same. Now when I start the car the gauge reads cold, but once it warms up the needle jumps right to maximum hot. I don't think the engine is actually running that hot.
