After it gets hot and I shut it down if I wait to long (10min) it'll turn and turn until finally it starts. If I turn it over sooner it'll fire right up
Is this a classic vapor lock with the fuel in the bowl boiling and if so what can I do to remedy this situation.

Thank you

Mike

Re: 69 f250 390

I had an old Chevy that would do the same thing. Turns out, the bowl was leaking down (emptying) into the intake thanks to a leaking lead plug on the bottom of the carb.

Hold the pedal to the floor and it should start easier.
