78 bronco resto mod

Some pics and details of my bronco project. Been working on it since 2009.
Traded a wrecked jeep cherokee for this pig rotted and not running. I have done all the work except engine machine work
466 big block,c6 Trans with wide ratio six pinion planetaries, dana 60 rear axle, front 8 lug conversion, body off frame for rust repair, new floor pans and rear quarter panels. Plus much more.

What I started with

During construction

Getting close

Painted.
It's being wet sanded and buffed now. It's taking me a while.

Nice!

Ever notice that there's so many high performance parts available for GM products?

Did you ever think that maybe they NEED them?

As it sits today. Hopefully get the hood done soon before the weather changes. Painted twice and can't get the clear coat to turn out.

Thanks. Yes it's been a lot of work but it is very fun to drive and my son loves it.

Broncos always were a fun ride, and with the big block, she ought to be able to do some damage!

Ever notice that there's so many high performance parts available for GM products?

Did you ever think that maybe they NEED them?
