Arrow 79 with 302 mod or swamp want more power

i have a 1979 ford f100 2 door short bed it has a stock 302 off a 93 5.0 i want a fast street truck should i keep my 302 and mod it or go with something bigger like A 400?????? any ideas

I have a 79 bronco with a 429 cj and I love it... I pass everything but the gas station haha

Welcome to the board. This thread is a couple years old so probably won't get there response. I am also a bronco owner. Mines a 78 with a 460.
