i have a 76 f150 that needs a new starter gear on the flywheel so sins i will have to take tranny out i was wondering if it would b worth replacing old np435 with a t18 out of an 80something f150? anyone do this ? ive had the flywheel reground and got new clutch will start this weekend.
well i got the starter ringgear on and in but didnt put the t18 trans in i talked to a trans mechanik he said it was a bolt in swap .he just put a 435 inplace of a t18
