I've got a 59 f-100 that came stock with a 6 cylinder. I recently swapped the 6 cyl. for a 289 V-8. Now whenever i increase the RPMs the bottom radiator hose starts to collapse. Any ideas on how to fix this would be appreciated.

Ensure the bottom hose has an internal wire spring reinforcement and that it has broken or rusted away.

Hi, thanks for the tip, but i tried and its still collapsing, not completely but enough to make me worry it'll overheat if i run it very long. I'm contemplating getting a bigger radiator and larger hoses if it will help.
