aftermarket XG panels - Ford Forums - Mustang Forum, Ford Trucks, Ford Focus and Ford Cars

got a major problem, my XG has gone in to have some front end repairs as someone backed into it. Panel shop tells me today that they cant get the guard from Ford as they dont stock them any more and they are having trouble getting a second hand one in Nth Qld.

any ideas where i can get a new one aftermarket. i wouldnt have thought it was that hard to find them but apparently it is.

any ideas.

i am sure there are companies that do after market panels for the ford utes .

sorry i dont have there names but if you go to the yellow pages online and search for motor replacement parts or something like that you might come up with something.

there used to be a place in sydney that got panels from asia that were pretty good.

apparently they are going to fix it, which worried me. they reakon they cant get a second hand one and the aftermarket ones are supose to be a piece of shit.
i will see how it looks when its done, its probably going to be full of bog anyway.

i just wish they would hurry up, they cant get some parts from ford.

Thats crap,theres plenty of XF parts around,maybe they want to pocket your cash from the part,they were supposed to supply,keep regurlar visits up to the shop mate,im tellin you this cos i am a painter/panel beater,and have seen some dodgy crap done by shops,might get away with it with a flakey holden owner but not us ford lovers,may try a place in melbourne called Choiceford,rod will sort you out,his numbers 03 9311 4441.
