Im looking for the cheapest way to respray a general runaround car, nothing show qual needed. Is Airless spray painting out of the question?

Its a lot cheaper than buying a big enough compressor and gun.Im not after any special paint just a basic white enamel.

Would it look ok done in airless?

damn mate..........what you painting your house. Have you ever used an airless spray its not like a conventional spray there is no way the same amount of play in agjustment. You would need to stand about 2m away to spray.

Try hiring a booth for the day cost you about $100 for the booth. They have all you need compressor, gun thinners and maybe even the paint. Dont use enamel. Use acrylic its easy to spray and touch up.

hehe thats why i asked around as i never touched airless before and couldnt find any info on internet about it.

the booth is your best bet for saving money. Do all the prep before hand drive in and a couple of hours later you drive home
