Re: AU Exterior Door Mouldings
No clips - just tape(!)
You could glue 'em but this may cause problems if you wanna remove em later for some reason, depending on the type of glue you use of course. Otherwise you'd have to just put new double sided tape on - get some top quality 3M tape (not just retail store stuff) to make sure it wont come off and prep the surface nice with wax & grease remover etc.
Oh... here we go - just reading the workshop manual and here's what Ford recommend:
-Remove the mouldings completley (carefully)
-Clean off all old tape etc.
-Give final clean with 70% isopropyl alcohol in water mix
-Prime the back of the side moulding with adhesion promoter such as 3M 2262 diluted 1:10 with MEK solvent
-Ensure vehicle (door panels) are at least 16deg. celsius
-Apply tape to moulding then carefully remove paper from other side and apply to door
-Apply at least 100N pressure all the way along the moulding
