Anyone know where I can get a good deal on either

AU1 Factory Bodykit
Havoc/FTR/Rebel/ whatever you want to call it (yeah i'll have to change my bonnet)

My ford dealer reckons they come out at the same price (including bonnet change for opt 2)

Any help?

The FTR bodykit incorporates an AU2 sized grille and I drive an AU1 Forte with the whiskers / cheesecutter / waterfall, etc so the bonnet is a different shape. A new bonnet from ford is surprisingly cheap though

I'm looking at the rear bar of the Havoc kit for my car. Paja quoted me around $1000 (painted) plus delivery. I didn't price this through Ford, but I did price the grille - it was $187 for the mesh, plus $440 for the plastic surround for a total of about $630 (this is from Ford). The same grille from Paja is $450 painted including the mesh. If you're thinking of getting the Havoc kit, ring Paja first (PM me if you want the number), then compare prices to Ford. I'd do it on a component by component basis just in case Ford happens to be cheaper on one thing (though I doubt that would happen).

Cheap options for fixing the AU1 forte are:

1. Using the grille from an AU2/3 ute. Looks tidy when painted body colour.

2. Using the grille from the Hawk body kit (for AU1 sedan or AU2/3 utes). Sydney Special Vehicles part num is 1127 but go to http://www.ssv.com.au and search for 1126 (which is the front bumper). You're looking at about $220 for the grille painted.

The 250kw Pursuit Ute is by far the best AU front end there is. The twin lights and grill are XR but the air dam is slightly different and it is absolutely PREFECT!!! Is there anyway you can get your hands on one through a ford dealer or anywhere else???

Yeah I've seen the Hawk body kit front grille, it's nice but i think i'll either go AU1 kit or Havoc, most probably havoc, Time to earn! and stop doing other mods along the way
