What is it with some off the colors on new cars today, I have seen heaps of Falcons and Commodores in silver with patches on them ,If you get in the sun on the right angle it looks like a zebra's skin.

Galaxy xr8, you are completly correct but I havent noticed them on the falcons yet but havent really had a good look at new silver falcon but we did have a brand new commodore in at work a couple of weeks ago it was silver, if you had look at the back bumper bar it was very motly or splotchy, also seen it on a Monaro, silver is a very hard colour to paint but because I am only a panel beater and not spray painter I cant really describe it to you.

BTW the commodore that I was talking about only had 26kms on it and the dealer was tesing the cruise control they just fitted and had a head on collision with a brand new harley and did $10000 dollars damage to the harley.

just thought I would mention that hard luck story.

Yeah, got a slight problem with my BA XR6, mine's mercury silver, the paint looks excellent, can't find any splotches, however the underside of the spoiler has not been finished with clear coat. Its as rough as sandpaper. (does anybody else have this problem).
