You could just leave it and in a 100years it may have rusted away completely, or you can spent a couple of grand and get it pulled out and painted.
You decide which one is more appropriate

I think it was at EL they stopped painting their engine blocks. The rust doesnt matter, just surface rust, but if it really bothers you, you could pull the motor, clean it up and paint it yourself.
FFS ppl ... surface rust on engine blocks is nothing unusual ... if u r that worried get urself some rustconverter and a paintbrush ... but it will take about 500 years to rust through to the bores or water jacket ...
if u got and engine cranke and a day to spare you can easily do it in a weekend:
rustconverter: $12
paintbrush: $2
HPC paint: $12 per can x2
carton of beer: $30
