Hi Guys,
I have a question for you.
I am in Melbourne and I own a sweet looking LTD, lowered with mags and I was thinking about getting the chrome wheel arch bits and maybe the body kit for around the bottom of the car.

Does anyone know where I can get this stuff.

Also, I think XR round lights would look sensational, these probably don't fit but is there any way to make it work?

Hi Scott,

Sorry, I can't really help you with the bodykits - but I hear speedway fibreglass (in Kilsyth) have AM XR kits - look them up and give them a call :-) Hey, if you're keen to do the XR front setup - you'll need an XR bonnet, XR lights (well duh hehe) and a different bumper. Hey, if you do want to go down that path - you can sell me your front setup lol ! j/k mate. Do a search on the xr setup - I think it was recently discussed.

dont get the chrome wheel arches!!! they look soooo ugly.

the XR skirts should fit on, the front bumper lip should also fit. but you will need a custom rear end lip fitted due to the LWB of the car.

Change the grille to an EL GT or an NL Tickford Fairlane item rather than the XR front, it will look so much nicer.

Don't think the side skirts will fit actually - the fairlane having the longer wheelbase n all =\. Still, can't hurt to speak to a place. Yeah, I reckon try getting someone to fabricate the FBT grille would be sweet - the EL GT grille might actually look good too...but I reckon it's a bit radical - I reckon go the FBT grille =D

I don't see any thing stopping you bolting an XR front on to the LTD, although the total lenth of the car will be shortened a couple of inches. I don't know about fitting the XR lights to the LTD front though....
The side skirts should fit, but you'll need a custom front and rear.

Oh and go the chrome, I'm getting a set too from a company in Port Melbourne for about $200

PS. Its not an NF if its an LTD. It would be a DF. NF is for fairlanes.
