broken my BA ute - Ford Forums - Mustang Forum, Ford Trucks, Ford Focus and Ford Cars

i got the first scars on my BA ute on christmas eve

parked in the line, waiting to get fuel and the

in front decided to try and reverse through my front bumper.

stuffed the bumper, both headlight protectors and bent the corner of the bonnet.

now i`m back home i guess i will spend tomorrow dealing with the insurance company, try to find someone decent to do a quote etc.

i`m a bit worried about getting the acid rush gold paint matched up.

yes, it certainly was the other guys fault

i had been parked about 3 metres behind him for a couple of minutes as we both waited for the car up front to finish getting their fuel and move off.

i saw the reversing lights come on and i hit the horn but he still never looked behind till he hit my car.

then he got out and wanted to know why i was there.

i was not very happy

i have had quote done, etc
waiting to hear back from insurance company now.

i got a call from insurance company today to let me know that the repairs have been approved ( with no excess

)

so i just have to wait for the panel shop to let me know when they want the car.

I would of belted the tw@t with a wheel spanner. World is full of numptys and getting worse by the day.

I would b happyman if someone reversed into my car either. But to suggest belting some1 with a wheel spanner (it waz an accident. Lets b a little mature about it an act like adults.

you can't hit em with your wheel spanner...you may bend it....and then need it..
use his wheel spanner

and on acting like adults... i thought a wheel brace was adult...if we were acting like kids, we'd tell all his mates he kisses his sister, or his mum still wipes his bum LMFAO!!!

well the ute is finally in hospital to get its surgery done.

started this morning and should be done for the weekend they say.

the job they have done to repair the front from where the guy reversed into it looks great.
colour match looks spot on
