Just after anyone who can help me out with this car i have. It is a XT Falcon. It has rust on the chassis in the engine bay. There is also rust where the leaf spring attaches to the body on the rear right. The rest of the body panels are pretty much perfect. The chrome is also very good as is the interior.
Can anyone form the photos tell me if it is worth fixing and possible costs? Or should i just use the panels and interior on another car?
Any help would be great.

It shouldnt cost too mutch because it wont require painting all you have to do is grind away the rusty areas and weld some sheet metal over the top then put stoneguard on it. a panel shop shouldent charge to mutch to do it (stone guard is a thick chip resistant paint that is used on chasis areas and underbody) then it it safe to drive and shouldnt give you any rust problems for ages
should`nt be a problem but make sure you check your other panels they might seem good from the outside but when you stripp to bare metal a nice clean looking panel can be ****ed
If the rest of the car is good, then it is worth fixing - anything can be repaired if you toss enough cash and time at it! Not enough XTs on the road anymore.....
However, unless you are a licenced welder (or have a mate who is) I would recommend getting these repairs done professionally as they directly affect the roadworthiness of the car.
