You really can't go past the Meguiars gear - it ain't cheap but it does do a great job.

I'll have to agree with Russellw with that one.I also have a black car and will only use meguiars cleaning gear you might pay a little more but it is worth it as it really does work..

Steve,

I have been using the shell range of wash products for about 6 months. The combined wash polish is excellent for my blue xr8. Have not used a better product for general cleaning. For polishing I use the Meguiars stuff which is also excellent. I only polish when necessary - probably every couple of months as the shell wash/polish gives an excellent shine.

Cheers
Tim

YES Meguire is good stuff... "Wet look" for polish.

Black jack on the tyres look great and is the only stuff that does not come of and go all over the car.

Hi,

Personally - I hate any paint on or foaming tyre black. Will only use spray on.

A general home glass cleaner can be efficient but I bought a proper autoglass bottle and use paper towels - excellent.

Can't go past armour all for plastics, vinyls and even tyres.

Have mag wheel cleaner but for me it is not enough to spray and hose off. You will generally have to wash wheels anyway. For me I will not buy magwheel cleaner again.

DO BUY YOURSELF A TOP OF THE RANGE CHAMOISE!

Cheers
