hi guys, im lookn at colourcoding my grey and red strips with the rest of my car. its an ED XR6 and its black. with the front and back bumpers, the grey section is apart of the entire bumper so they have to come off and be taped up in order to paint them, with the side strips, are they easi 2 take off? and could someone tell me how? cauz they cant juz be painted on the car can they, cheers guys any help is aprreciated

G'day,
the grey bar moulds are an easy remove, but most (inculding genuine) refits tend to fail quickly.

The grey on your door moulds is moulded in. Yo'ur best option is to mask them properly and follow the correct preparation procedures for you paint and do them on the car.

orite, so they tend not to be the same once you put them back on the car. it would probably be best to take the front and rear bumpers off and mask it up, rather then taping them up cauz of lights and so on, but juz mask the side moulds up and paint them on the car, thanks jas24
