I want to convert my 70 coupe into a roadster(like foose did to that tbird on Overhaulin). I know the frame needs some support but can't find details of exactly what will work. Any ideas?
check with your engineer first take the car to him or have him come to you you will need to fit braces to the floor joining the chassis as the roof plays a big part of its structural support the braces need to be welded to the floor as well as the chassis but check with your engineer and do what ever he wants dont just look at someone elses work and think it right even pro shops and magazine articals can get it wrong if you do what the engineer wants you should have no problems getting rego for it
